​Watford beat spurs with a surprising come back.

Watford continued with their 100% winning run as they shocked Mauricio pochettino’s side Tottenham hotspurs in Sunday’s league game at Vicarage Road. 
It was Watford’s first league win over spurs since May 1987 and their first time In the club’s history to win all the four starting games in the league.

They had a goalless draw at half time before Abdoulaye Doucoure scored an own goal that gave spurs the lead in the 53rd minute.

 However 16 minutes later Troy Deeney’s header went past Hugo Loris to the net to give Watford an equalizer thanks to Jose Holebas’ assist.

 With just 14 minutes to the 90th minute, Jose Holebas who had assisted in the first goal took a corner which was converted by Craig cathcartford to score the winner.

In the post match press conference Javi Gracia, the Watford boss expressed how he si enjoying the vibe at his team. “Everyone is happy. To get four wins in a row is not easy. It’s not a good moment for us. It’s only the beginning four games, but we are enjoying this moment.”

Watford is placed third on the table equaling points with Chelsea and Liverpool.

Watford will host Jose Mourinho’s struggling side after the international break.

Elsewhere in the league.

Unai emery recorded his second league win as Arsenal manager, Arsenal beat Cardiff city 3-2 thanks to goals from Shodkhran Mustafi, Aubameyang and Lacazette.

Manchester united also beat Sean Dyche’s struggling Burnley to bounce back after the spurs loss last weekend Romeru Lukaku scored both goals.

Chelsea beat Bournemouth 2-0

C palace 0-2 Southampton
