COVID19 Cases In Uganda Now At 33. – MOH

The ministry of health has today evening announced 3 new COVOD19 cases in Uganda bringing the total to 33.

“3 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed today, Sunday 29 March 2020. Total number of confirmed cases stands at 33 in Uganda.
Out of 206 samples run today, 203 samples tested negative for COVID-19. #STAYSAFEUG” reads the Ministry’s tweet.

The first case was realised a week ago with the victim being a Kibuli resident who had travelled to Dubai for business purposes.

The president is expected to give an official communication in regards to new measures against the virus as he announced on his official twitter account.
