Friends of boy abducted by pervert who groomed the 13-year-old on Twitter pleaded to hand boy back
Aaron Zeman, a 26-year-old Arizona man, was arrested on December 28 in Grand Island, Nebraska on suspicion of kidnapping a 13-year-old boy from Layton, Utah
Friends of a teenager from Utah who was allegedly abducted by a 26-year-old man from Arizona pleaded with the kidnapper to release the boy.
Twitter accounts belonging to Aaron Zeman contained all manner of sick and disturbing imagery together with messages in the lead-up to 13-year-old Evan McConney’s disappearance from Layton, Utah.
A number of people pleaded with Zeman over Twitter to release the child.
‘Give him back you jerk. That is my friend [redacted],’ tweeted one boy to Zeman who had attended elementary school with the missing teen.
He also tweeted a message of support to the youngster: ‘Stay strong be careful me and [redacted] have been talking all day about this. I don’t know if you are going to read this, but if there is any way you do just remember to be strong.’
Zeman was arrested on December 28 in Grand Island, Nebraska, on suspicion of kidnapping the 13-year-old.

An AMBER Alert had been issued for the child the previous day and the alarm was raised after an attendant at a gas station became suspicious.
Zeman, who identifies as a ‘furry’ and has an interest in ‘puppy play’ fetish, went by the alias ‘Hunter Fox’ online and had been interacting with the victim for some time on social media.
Zeman is alleged to have groomed the child and made explicit references to sexual activity.
In one instance, he posted a video of himself masturbating along with a message for the victim.
In a series of Twitter posts last month that led up to the abduction, Zeman could be seen allegedly interacting with the child that he referred to as his ‘lamb’.

His Twitter accounts included posts in which he referred to the child as his ‘lamb’ together with sexually suggested comments
Under the handle HunterFloofyFox, Zeman is alleged to have continued to tweet about the teen referring to him as ‘lamb’
In one photo, he posted text about having his ‘lamb’ perform oral sex together with a photo of his erect penis.
He is later alleged to have written: ‘I’m the map. I’m the map, I’m the map.’
It is believed ‘M.A.P.’ refers to acronym for minor-attracted person, itself a euphemism used by some, including activists and academics, to describe pedophiles.
He is also believed to have operated a Twitter account under the name ‘SadiqWolfe,’ which he also used to interact with the child.
The accounts have all since been shut down, but each appeared to use similar phrases.
‘I’d never hurt a kid. In fact, as ‘pedophile’ implies – I love kids,’ read one post. ‘Love me, hate me, I am who I am.’

Zeman allegedly made explicit references to sexual acts he wanted to perform
In one video posted on December 15, Zeman allegedly filmed himself masturbating together with the text: ‘A very special video for a very special boy! Your vids are so friggin’ hot, hehe. You know who you are.’
The teen was seen to respond to the message but has been restricted by Twitter.
The following day, Zeman allegedly posted how he was sexually aroused and ready to meet the boy: ‘I’ll march beside you with pride, my Lamb. I love you with all my heart and soul, you loving sexy frigger. You’ll be in my arms soon, my love.’
Ten days later, Zeman allegedly abducted the boy and drove him 800 miles away from his family home in Utah.
A number of explicit exchanges saw Zeman and the boy on interacting on Twitter as Zeman continually stated how he wanted to have sex with him.
The only thing that belongs inside you is me,’ Zeman allegedly wrote on December 18.
Zeman is being held in jail in Hall County, Nebraska pending charges and extradition to Utah.
The Layton City Police Department in Utah is leading the investigation.
