Man in serious condition after chopping incident
A 35-year-old man is warded in a serious condition at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex after he was chopped repeatedly.
The victim sustained injuries to his hands and face.
He told police that around 5.30 am Saturday morning, he was walking through a track near Alexis Street, Morvant, when he was attacked by a man known to him.
The man was armed with a cutlass.
After he was injured, the man attempted to flee the scene and was eventually able to flag down a driver and seek assistance.
The police were notified and PC Mark is continuing inquiries.
