Inclement weather in Chicago will prevent the Royals and White Sox from playing the middle game of their scheduled three-game series Saturday.

The teams announced Saturday morning that the game has been postponed. It will be made up May 14, when the teams already were scheduled to play at 7:10 p.m. They now will play a split doubleheader, with the rescheduled game set for 1:10 p.m.

The series finale remains scheduled for 1:10 p.m. Sunday, though rain is in the forecast.
