Roddy Ricch’s ‘Live Life Fast’ Debuts at No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart
As the album arrives, six of its songs debut on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Roddy Ricch bags his second No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart as Live Life Fast debuts at No. 1 on the list dated Jan. 1. The set starts with 62,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Dec. 23, according to MRC Data.
As with most hip-hop releases, streaming powers the majority of Live Life Fast‘s first-week activity. Just under 57,500 of the 62,000 units derive from streaming-album equivalents — representing 76.5 million on-demand streams of the set’s tracks. Traditional album sales comprise 3,500 units and the remaining 1,000 units come through track-equivalent units. (One unit equals the following levels of consumption: one album sale, 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams for a song on the album.)
Live Life Fast, released on Dec. 17 via Atlantic Records, is Roddy Ricch’s second studio album. It follows 2019’s Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial, which likewise debuted at No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and ruled the list for seven nonconsecutive weeks. Antisocial contained the smash hit single, “The Box,” a 12-week champ on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and an 11-week leader on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100.
Elsewhere, Live Life Fast debuts at No. 1 on Top Rap Albums, where it likewise becomes Roddy Ricch’s second chart-topper, and at No. 4 on the all-genre Billboard 200.
As Live Life Fast arrives, six of its songs debut on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, led by “25 Million” at No. 18. The tune is Roddy Ricch’s most-streamed song of the week, with 8.2 million streams in the week ending Dec. 23, and comes in second place in the sales race, with 1,000 downloads sold in the same period. (“Moved to Miami,” featuring Lil Baby, wins that category, with 2,000 downloads.)
