Uganda Confirms 5 More Cases, Totalling to 14!

The Ministry of Health has today afternoon confirmed five new cases of COVID19 as confirmed by the Primary Health Care Minister, Joyce Moriku Kaducu.

“Dear Ugandans, this is a very critical moment for everyone as the number of positive cases keeps scaling up. Five more people have been confirmed positive, including 2 of the 6 chinese that were got in Zombo. They cannot be presented in court for fear of further spread.” Minister Joyce Moriku tweeted.

This comes shortly after the announcement of the 8 new cases some of which had mixed with the public as confirmed by the ministry. L

While addressing the press today, the Director Health Services today said that one of the victims had no travel history, but was conducting salt business along Uganda-South Sudan border.

Among the victims was an 8-months old baby whose parents took them to hospital and when the doctors realised the symptoms, they took samples and sent them for checkup.
