2025 NCAA Tournament projections: Auburn, Alabama on top; Wisconsin moves up

Matt Painter’s Purdue Boilermakers ended a four-game losing skid with an impressive 76-66 win over UCLA on Friday night. Will that victory help boost the Boilermakers’ seeding on Sunday Selection? 

FOX Sports bracket forecaster Mike DeCourcy’s is here to answer that and more with his latest NCAA Tournament projections.

Auburn, Alabama, Duke and Houston remain on the 1-line in DeCourcy’s latest projections. The Cougars are among the hottest teams in the nation, winners of seven straight and 20 of their last 21 games.

Wisconsin, Tennessee, Florida and Michigan State make up the No. 2 seeds. The Badgers have won six of their last seven and are fresh off an 88-62 win over Washington, while the Spartans have won four in a row, three of which have come against ranked teams. The two Big Ten foes are set to clash at 1:30 p.m. ET Sunday in East Lansing.

Texas A&M, St. John’s, Michigan and Iowa State land on the 3-line, while Texas Tech, Missouri and Kentucky are now joined by Purdue as No. 4 seeds in DeCourcy’s latest projections.

As for the bubble, DeCourcy has Texas, Indiana, Wake Forest and North Carolina as his first four teams out, with Xavier, Cincinnati, Boise State and SMU listed as DeCourcy’s next four teams out of the NCAA Tournament.
