FORTY foreigners were detained in Port Dickson for not having valid identification and travel documents in an integrated operation carried out in conjunction with the reopening of the country’s borders yesterday.

Negri Sembilan police chief Mohamad Mat Yusop said the 21-hour operation was carried out to prevent the entry of illegal immigrants and cross-border smuggling activities, especially around Port Dickson waters.
