Man dead after collision involving train in Leduc

A man is dead after a collision involving a train early Wednesday morning in Leduc.

Around 6:40 a.m., Leduc RCMP and EMS responded to a crash involving a pedestrian and a train on the tracks between 50 Avenue and 65 Avenue in Leduc.

A 50-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, Mounties said.

The RCMP Collision Analyst and CP Rail police are also on scene as Leduc RCMP continue to investigate the incident.
