NFL divisional round live updates: Buccaneers-Lions tied early
The divisional round of the NFL playoffs continued Sunday with a doubleheader featuring four teams that won their respective divisions.
First, the Detroit Lions beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Ford Field, 31-23, earning a trip to face the San Francisco 49ers, which took down the Green Bay Packers in a thriller Saturday, in the NFC Championship Game (FOX, 6:30 p.m. ET).
Later, the Kansas City Chiefs bested the Buffalo Bills in a thrilling contest at Highmark Stadium. Five lead changes highlighted the game, but with Tyler Bass’ late attempt to tie it rendered futile. Kansas City will face the Baltimore Ravens, who defeated the Houston Texans by double digits on Saturday, in the AFC Championship Game.
