Man arrested after fatal stabbing in Sydney
A man allegedly fatally stabbed another man to death in a western Sydney home early on Thursday morning.
Police said a 34-year-old stabbed a 64-year-old man in the neck before 6.30am in a home on Layton Street, Wentworthville.
Sources told the Herald the incident involved a father and son.
Paramedics treated the older man. However, he died at the scene.
A 60-year-old woman was also home at the time and was uninjured.
A short time later police arrested the younger man, who was taken to Granville police station. Police believe the three people involved are known to each other.
