Disney+’s 2025 Preview Gives Us Our First Footage From Andor Season 2, and More

This morning Disney teased its slate of streaming shows coming to Disney+ and Hulu next year, which means, at long last–after closed-door teases and behind-the-scenes snippets–we finally have our first proper look at the return of Andor in the seminal Star Wars show’s second season.

It’s not just Andor of course–the new trailer gives us tiny snippets from Ironheart and Daredevil: Born Again, building on the brief glimpses Marvel previously shared as part of the company’s wider 85th anniversary as a comics publisher, giving us a better look at Anthony Ramos’ version of The Hood in the former, and a teasing line from Kingpin to Matt Murdock in the latter about Matt’s “darker half.” We also get a short, haunting tease from Alien: Earth beyond just that shot of a Xenomorph with the world reflected in its head! Very nice. Also, Skeleton Crew is here to remind you that while it’s kicking off next month, it’s also mostly going to be a 2025 show as well.

But yes, maybe we’re here for Andor a whole lot. And it looks good: we get to see images of Imperial Stormtroopers attempting to quell a protest, and the chaos that ensues, Luthen and Cassian clashing over how the latter should be thinking, and what looks an awful lot like Cassian highjacking a very interesting Imperial Starfighter, the TIE Avenger from the beloved TIE Fighter flight simulator games. Plus, Cassian on Yavin! We’re getting closer and closer to that Rogue One timeline.

Now all we have to do is wait. Andor was confirmed over the weekend to be coming April 22, 2025, but here’s all the other dates Disney provided for the shows included in the reel:

  • Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again (streaming March 4, 2025)
  • Goosebumps: The Vanishing (streaming January 10, 2025 on Disney+ and Hulu)
  • Marvel Television’s Ironheart (streaming June 24, 2025)
  • Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (streaming December 3, 2024)

Alien: EarthPercy Jackson & The Olympians, and The Handmaid’s Tale season 6 weren’t given specific dates, but you can just expect them some time next year too.
