‘Akwa Ibom Ayaya’ singer, Mish is dead

Nigerian singer, Michael Aniekeme Meshach, professionally known by his stage name, Mish, has died.

A family member confirmed his death to newsmen on Thursday, February 15 and disclosed that the singer passed away in Abuja.

Mish, a native of Akwa Ibom state gained prominence in 2011 after his song, ‘Akwa Ibom Ayaya’- (I Want To Go Home) went viral on multiple platforms.

However, the artiste went into musical hibernation as nNot much was heard from him after the nationwide success of ‘Akwa Ibom Ayaya.’

The deceased hailed from Obot Okoh Mbiaobong in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.
