Detectives name man wanted in connection with Uxbridge assault
Detectives are appealing for the public’s help to trace a man who is wanted in connection with a serious assault in Uxbridge.
Police were called to an address in Arklay Close, UB8 at around 22:40hrs on Friday, 7 July.
Officers attended and found a 24-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man who had both been assaulted.
The man had stab wounds and was taken to a west London hospital by the London Ambulance Service. His injuries have since been assessed as non-life changing.
The woman did not require hospital treatment.
The suspect, who has been named as 23-year-old Sam Gray, was known to the victim. He left the scene prior to police arrival.
It is believed Gray made off in a Peugeot with the registration KT13 KNW and detectives believe he may now have left the London area.
He has links to Eastleigh in Hampshire and it is believed he may have returned to that area.
Anyone with information about Gray’s whereabouts should call 999, giving the reference 9153/07JUL if calling from London or 44230273921 if calling from Hampshire.
The public are urged not to approach Gray if they see him, but to call police immediately instead.
