In photos: Crusaders, Golden Suns take home Hoopla titles

After a defeat in the city championship, the Holy Cross Crusaders returned strong and beat the Walter Murray Marauders on the last play of their gold-medal match, to be crowned 5A boys Hoopla provincial basketball champions.

In a decisive victory in the girls championship, Regina’s LeBoldus Golden Suns crushed the Swift Current Ardens 81-59 to take home the provincial title.

StarPhoenix photojournalist Michelle Berg was there to capture the action as the final games played out Saturday night at St. Joseph High School.
