Jeremy Camp Tops Christian Airplay Chart With ‘Out of My Hands,’ Feels ‘Humbled When a Song Goes No. 1′

“After 20 years of playing music professionally, I still get shocked and feel humbled when a song goes No. 1,” Camp marvels. “It never gets old how a song idea can simply start in your heart, be put on a record, go to radio and so many people get to hear it. I’m so thankful for the process and the people God has put in my life to bring these songs to life.”

Camp wrote “Hands” with Ethan Hulse and Jeff Sojka, the latter of whom produced it. The song follows Camp’s “Keep Me in the Moment,” which led Christian Airplay for two weeks starting last July.

On Billboard’s multimetric Hot Christian Songs list, which combines airplay, sales and streaming data, “Hands” hits a new high, rebounding 11-8 (after becoming his 24th top 10 in February). It collected 854,000 U.S. streams and sold 1,000 downloads in the latest tracking week.

‘GOOD’ WORK: Crowder’s “Good God Almighty” rises 12-7 on Christian Airplay and 12-9 on Hot Christian Songs, becoming his eighth and seventh top 10 on each respective list.

The track, which Crowder co-wrote, increased by 23% to 7 million in airplay audience and drew 865,000 streams and sold 2,000 downloads in the latest tracking week.
