CAREER
Ajaero is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Public Administration NIPA, Nigeria Industrial Relations Association (NIRA), Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, and the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations NIPR.
He represented Africa in the global union federation public services international representing workers in 150 countries worldwide.
He served in the presidential committee on power sector reforms, set-up by the later ex-president Umaru Yar Adua.
He is a well-known Unionist who has held a variety of posts, including Secretary/Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Vanguard Chapter, Member of the NUJ’s Central Working Committee and National Executive Council from 1997 to 1999, and National Ex-Officio from 1997 to 1999.
He was the General Secretary of the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) since 2005.
