Have your say: who wins tonight?

Both sides are missing big names.

The Broncos had a double blow last week, with halves pairing Ezra Mam and Adam Reynolds both going down with hamstring injuries in the same set, while the Dolphins are missing Herbie Farnworth and Felise Kaufusi (among many other players).

With that in mind, who gets the win tonight?

The Hammer scores Dolphins opening try

They were denied points just moments ago, but after two repeat sets it’s the Dolphins who open the scoring as Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow soars across the line.

The cut-out pass from Isaiya Kato to Tabuai-Fidow is beautiful, and the Hammer is able to throw the dummy and slice through the middle of Kotoni Staggs and Tevita Naufahu.

Jamayne Isaako bends the ball back in and adds the extras.

Dolphins denied opening try

They’re completing at just 25 per cent, but somehow it’s the Dolphins who cross the line first.

A Payne Haas error and a set restart gave the Dolphins a leg up field, but despite the best efforts of Tevita Naufahu, they can’t get the opening points – he gets the ball down, but the tackle from Kotoni Staggs takes him into touch before he grounds the ball.

Pressure mounts on Dolphins

Three sets on the Dolphins line, but the Broncos fail to execute.

Brisbane had the numbers on the left-hand side with Dolphins winger Jamayne Isaako jamming in, but the ball from Reece Walsh is too powerful for Josiah Karapani to take cleanly and it goes to ground.

That’s lucky for the Dolphins who were under immense pressure, and now get a penalty to help them out of their own end.

Riki error lets Dolphins off the hook

Impressive goal-line defence from the Dolphins, who manage to keep the Broncos out during that attacking set.

Ben Hunt sent a cross-field kick to the right edge, but edge forward Jordan Riki knocks the ball on as he goes up to compete.

Finefeuiaki error puts Dolphins under pressure

It’s the Dolphins with the first error of the night after Isaiya Katoa threw a short pass to Kulikefu Finefeuiaki who coughs up the ball.

The Broncos have the first chance for points as they start a fresh set 30 metres out from the Dolphins line.

Kick-off at Suncorp

We’re into the action at Suncorp Stadium, where the Broncos have the first set of the evening and Payne Haas charges into the Dolphins pack.

Keep an eye on Dolphins fullback Trai Fuller (N0. 20). He was amazing last year until an ACL injury ended his season. It’s his first game back tonight after almost a year on the sidelines.

Roosters bash the Bulldogs black and blue to sound finals alarm

By Dan Walsh

While we’re at it, you should go and read all about the Bulldogs and Roosters clash.

For a team that was supposed to be rebuilding, according to those outside the Roosters’ opulent Allianz Stadium walls (and quietly, a few within the Tricolours HQ), Trent Robinson’s side is giving the 2025 title race one hell of a shake.

And for a pack featuring roughly $3.5 million in Origin and international talent, it is undoubtedly hustling, bustling Kiwi prop Naufahu Whyte who is now the Roosters’ spiritual leader.

Just ask Canterbury, beaten first physically with Whyte leading the assault, then on the scoreboard too – 32-12 – as the front-rower bagged two tries in nine minutes and doubled his career tally.

Three Dragons knocked out in brutal loss to Warriors

Miss the action in last night’s Warriors and Dragons clash? Fear not, we’ve got you covered.

It was a dramatic night out in Auckland, with the Warriors regaining their place in the NRL’s top four with a 14-10 victory.

But it was a horrific night for the Red V, with 18th man Tyrell Sloan needing to be activated after Hamish Stewart, Jack De Belin and Hame Sele all being ruled out with category one concussions.

Catch up on the all the drama here.

What’s happening in the NRLW?

It’s a big week for the NRLW, with three players – Ali Brigginshaw, Keeley Davis and Isabelle Kelly – becoming the first female players to reach the 50-game milestone.

Brigginshaw played her 50th match earlier today, as she helped lead the Broncos to a dominant 38-4 victory against the Eels.
