13:27 – IDF kills Islamic Jihad rocket commander in Gaza City
Israeli aircraft killed Alkaman Abdel Salam Khalil Anbar, the commander of the rocket fire unit of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s (PIJ) Gaza Brigade.
The IDF said Anbar was responsible for the PIJ’s rocket launches toward Israel from Gaza, and served a key role in the terror group’s munitions production efforts.
“In this attack, additional terrorists from the PIJ terror organization were eliminated, who were engaged in launching rockets towards the rear of the State of Israel and the IDF forces,” the military said.
12:31 – Palestinian Islamic Jihad releases second video of hostage Sasha Trupanov in two days
The PIJ terror group released a second video in as many days showing Israeli-Russian hostage Sasha Trupanov.
The second video shows Trupanov turning to Shas party leader Aryeh Deri, pleading with him to convince the government to agree to a hostage deal while reminding him of the Jewish religious obligation to free hostages.
The clip is the fourth video of Trupanov that was published since he was kidnapped on Oct. 7.
10:39 – Four people lightly wounded by Hezbollah rocket fire on Friday morning
Four men suffered light wounds in northern Israel amid the rocket fire from Hezbollah on Friday morning, according to Magen David Adom (MDA) rescue services.
In the first incident, a man in his 30s was lightly wounded in the Haifa Bay area.
The second incident took place shortly after, amid rocket fire in Haifa and the Western Galilee. Three foreign workers in their 40s were wounded and taken to Rambam Medical Center for treatment, the MDA said.
09:40 – IDF issues additional evacuation notice in Dahiyeh
IDF Arabic spokesman Avichay Adraee issued another evacuation notice for the residents of Burj Al-Barajneh and Al-Ghobeiry in the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut, warning that the IDF will soon strike in those areas.
07:39 – Sirens in the Haifa Bay and Upper Galilee areas
IDF: Following the sirens that sounded between 9:01 and 9:02 a.m. in the Haifa Bay and Upper Galilee area, approximately five projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israel. Some were intercepted and one fallen projectile was identified in the area. The details are under review.
06:15 – IDF Arabic spokesman issues warning to evacuate parts of Dahiyeh
IDF Arabic Spokesman Avichay Adraee issued an evacuation order for parts of the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut.
“To all residents in the southern suburb area, specifically in the buildings specified in the attached maps and the buildings adjacent to them in the Ghobeiry area: You are located near Hezbollah facilities and interests, against which the IDF will act forcefully in the near future. For your safety and the safety of your family members, you must evacuate these buildings and those adjacent to them immediately and stay away from them for a distance of no less than 500 meters.”
