Police seek suspect in sexual assault

Windsor police are seeking a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault that occurred in a West Windsor apartment on Friday.

Police said at around 3 a.m. officers were called to the 3000 block of Russell Street after a female reported an unknown male entered her residence and sexually assaulted her. He then fled the scene.

Officers are asking residents in the 3000 block of Russell, or the 200 block of Brock or Mill streets and who have security cameras to check their footage.

Anyone driving in the area a the times asked to check their footage.

It is believed the suspect entered the apartment through an unlocked door and police are reminding everyone to keep their doors locked at all times.
