Shane Lowry wishes his ‘Queen’ happy birthday as Irish PGA Tour star hails wife Wendy ahead of busy summer schedule
IRELAND’s Shane Lowry has taken to social media to wish his wife Wendy happy birthday.
The Irish PGA Tour star returned to the Emerald Isle last week from his US base for the first time since January.
He’s been a busy man since as he attended Taylor Swift’s Dublin concert with his family.
The 2019 Open champion also got in some training at the Irish Sports Institute before heading to Scotland for a practice round at Royal Troon, which host this year’s final major.
Lowry is set to play in next week’s Scottish Genesis Open before teeing it up at The 2024 Open.
And sandwiched in between a brief few weeks back home from his busy PGA Tour 2024 schedule, the world number 31 took to Instagram as his wished his wife a happy birthday.

Wendy and Shane met in 2012 on a night-out, and he popped the question just two years later.
The pair got engaged in 2014, and got married in April 2016, and 37-year-old Lowry often describes Wendy as his number one fan.
In 2018, they pair moved the United States as the Clara star focused primarily on America’s lucrative PGA Tour.
Lowry has five top ten finishes on his season, and one win alongside Rory McIlroy in the only team event on the PGA Tour calendar, The Zurich Classic.

But there’s plenty more to play for ahead of the FedEx Cup Playoffs with the Scottish Open and Open Championship coming up.
He’ll also head to the Olympic Games golf tournament at La Golf National in August.
