The Navy ship will be in the coastal city from December 4 to December 7, where residents will receive free medical checkups, consultations and treatment.

“We have managed to establish free medical camps for our brothers and sisters in Kenya from December 5 to December 7,” Canal Inam said in a press briefing while receiving the navy ship.

He said they have adequate medical experts who will attend to residents for free in the organised medical camp.

“We will be having nine specialists…there will be special doctors along with laboratory facilities and free medicine which will be provided to all those who will require medical assistance,” he added.

This visit is part of the ship’s overseas deployment to the African region and aims to strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and Kenya. After the medical camps, the two navies will have a joint exercise afterwards.

“Pakistani navy and Kenya navy will keep on collaborating for the prosperity of the region and the world.

The visit underscores Pakistan’s commitment to fostering relationships with African nations as part of its “Engage Africa” policy. From Mombasa, the ship will head to Comoros for the same purpose.

It is not the first time a Pakistani ship docked in Mombasa on a mission to help humanity. In 2022, a Pakistan Navy Ship ALAMGIR visited the Kenyan port city of Mombasa.

During the visit to the coastal city of Kenya over 5,400 patients were provided treatment and medicines by Pakistani Doctors. The establishment of the camp was widely appreciated by the local populace.
