Singer Kalifah Aganaga Unveiled as FDC Flag Bearer for Kawempe North By-Election

The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has officially unveiled popular musician Mukiibi Sadat, commonly known as Kalifah Aganaga, as its flag bearer for the upcoming Kawempe North by-election.

The announcement was made at the FDC headquarters in Najjanankumbi, where party officials expressed confidence in Kalifah Aganaga’s ability to represent the people of Kawempe North. The singer, known for his vibrant music career, has in recent years shown keen interest in politics and social issues.

Speaking at the event, Kalifah Aganaga pledged to focus on youth empowerment, job creation, and improved service delivery for the people of Kawempe North. The Kawempe North seat fell vacant following the death of Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya last month prompting a fresh contest among political parties and independent candidates.
