Stunt driving charge laid after Windsor parking lot crash

A 21-year-old man faces a charge of stunt driving following a collision at a commercial property in the 3400 block of Wheelton Drive April. 13.
Windsor police say offers were dispatched to a parking lot at that location shortly before 12 a.m. where they found a large number of vehicles fleeing the scene.

Police found a parked BMW with extensive front-end damage.
Officers reviewed a video of the scene, which showed an Audi colliding with the BMW at a high rate of speed, causing damage to both vehicles.
Police were able to contact the Audi driver by telephone. The driver followed police instructions to return to the scene where he was arrested.
Officers continue to investigate the identity of the BMW driver. Anyone with information is asked to call the Windsor Police Traffic Enforcement Unit at 519-945-9645 x 225.
