Ted Cruz Rips Biden Up, Down and Sideways on Border Crisis, Bringing Delegation to Border To Get Transparency
As we’ve previously reported, Joe Biden has created a huge mess with illegal aliens flooding in at the border. Now the facilities that people and kids are being held in stuffed to the overflowing.
On top of that, the Biden team keeps trying to sell us this narrative that they have it all under control, it’s not really a crisis although sometimes they slip up on that. But even the liberal media isn’t buying that it isn’t.
But the Biden folks have been trying to make it hard on any media trying to report what’s actually going on. They’re restricting what the Border Patrol can say to media and they’re not letting media into the facilities where the kids are being held to see how horrible the conditions are. But a lawyer they had to let in to talk to the kids reported that they were being held long past the 72 hours that the law allowed in the CBP facilities, that kids were sleeping on the floor, not showering in days and going hungry. Not to mention that there were a lot of very very young kids there.
It was announced that DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was going to be going to the border today, but again, no media allowed.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) blistered that announcement, he demanded that the Biden team start being transparent. Cruz said he and a team of senators would be coming to the border and the Biden needed to provide answers.
No press. No cameras.
What is Biden hiding?
Next week, I’m bringing 15 senators to the border. DHS said NO to our request to bring media.
Outrageous & unacceptable.
I will continue to fight for press access so every American can see this crisis for themselves! #BorderCrisis https://t.co/mKL58kQsPu

Cruz had previously called out the Biden team, saying pointedly that the crisis at the border is “the direct result of the Biden administration’s failed immigration policy.” He listed several things that had made it worse including bringing back catch and release, halting construction on the wall and ending the Remain in Mexico policy that President Donald Trump had implemented with great success. What the delegation will also be doing is something that the Biden people apparently don’t seem to care much about, gettin the opinion of the local people. The delegation has invited local stakeholders in the area to hear about their concerns with all that is going on.
Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) and Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) will also be part of the delegation going to the border next Friday, March 26.
This is great news. Transparency as to what’s going on is incredibly important and we’re never going to get it from the Biden people unless their feet are held to the fire.
Where are the Democrats who were screaming during the Trump Administration now that it’s actually, truly out of hand? Seemingly they’ve gone missing, it’s all cool, because Democrats are in charge of the mess so there’s no “crisis.”
