‘Teen Mom”s Cheyenne And Zach Were Targeted In A Shooting
“From the outside, my life looks perfect. But to be honest, I haven’t been transparent about what’s really been going on. This next chapter, I’m ready to get closure.”
Cheyenne’s Teen Mom: The Next Chapter story began with these ominous words — and shortly after, she and Zach opened up about the harrowing and horrifying incident that recently unfolded when they were in the car with Ryder and Ace.
“Chey looks at me, and she goes, ‘What is that?’ And there was a green beam on my face,” Zach began in a somber joint confessional interview with Chey.
Cheyenne added: “When I saw the beam on Zach’s face, I looked past it, I was in complete and utter shock. “
The person holding the gun was not a stranger; it was somebody they knew.
“He’s been at Chey’s house; there’s pictures with him,” Zach stated. “And all of a sudden, you start hearing the shots.”
The perpetrator hit the car 13 times — and eventually, the family crashed into the back of a Prius. When Zach opened his door, he experienced “the worst feeling in the world.”
“It is a miracle that we are still here and God literally covered us that day,” Chey tearfully admitted, adding that the police officers on the scene were surprised they all survived.
The next step: Cheyenne and Zach were due to appear at the Los Angeles County Courthouse — and both of them were understandably anxious about seeing the perpetrator for the first time. Unfortunately, the defendant did not show up at the hearing, and there is still “zero closure” for Zach, Cheyenne and their family.
“I feel like he didn’t kill us, but he took so much from us,” Chey sobbed to her mom and sister while expressing the agony she feels for her children. “They’re just babies. They were not supposed to go through that.”
