Tyla is in front of and behind the paintbrush in her latest “Art” music video from her self-titled debut album, which were both released on Friday (March 22).

Rather than posing for the cameras as she normally does, the South African singer-songwriter poses for the canvas on a chaise lounge with her sheer red corset dress and clear thigh-high boots. But when a young man entranced by her pure beauty sneaks into the gallery, he discovers that she’s not just the muse, but the artist herself. Tyla’s portrait magically morphs into one of him, and she contemplates where to hang it up with the rest of the men who’ve been completely captured by her charm.

“Study my face, frame, put me on the wall/ Above the staircase, If you show me off/ I’ll be your piece/ Your A-R-T,” she sings in the chorus.

Trending on Billboard

“Art” is one of 14 tracks on Tyla, which also includes her Billboard Hot 100 No. 7 and Grammy-winning smash “Water,” its Travis Scott remix that also has a music video and more collaborations with fellow South African DJ/producer Kelvin Momo (“Intro”), Tems (“No. 1”), Gunna and Skillibeng (“Jump”) and Becky G (“On My Body”). Tyla also features previously released tracks “Truth or Dare,” “On and On” and “Butterflies” — which had been bundled as a Tyla EP at the end of 2023 — as well as her 2022 single “To Last.”

Tyla previously give BLACKPINK‘s Lisa the “first listen” of “Art.”
