Uganda’s COVID-19 Vaccine To Be Out By November 2021. – Museveni.

While speaking at Munyonyo, at the World Health Summit revealed that Uganda is having steady progress in developing Uganda’s COVID-19 vaccine.

“Making a vaccine takes 8 or 9 stages if WHO allows you to skip one stage.” He said adding that Uganda’s vaccine is currently at stage 5 and would be at the last stage in November 2020.

Museveni further added that Uganda would not rely on external help from outside countries.

“We shall not rely on outside countries anymore to prevent mass deaths.

The news comes at a time when Uganda is undergoing what’s been termed the second wave of COVID-19. This has gotten Uganda flagged a high-risk country by many other countries banning travellers from the country except their nationals.
