Luke Bryan Jokes About the NSFW Secret to His Marriage

After answering a few more questions, theSkimm asked for his secret to a great marriage. Bryan, who shared that the background photo on his phone is one of him with his wife of 14 years, offered two tips. “Communicate, make-up sex,” he revealed, waggling his eyebrows jokingly.

Bryan also shared whether he’s met fellow American Idol judge Katy Perry’s new daughter with Orlando Bloom. “I have FaceTimed on set with Katy’s precious daughter, Daisy Dove,” he said. “I haven’t got to do, like, baby fat, kissing the cheeks stuff yet.”

And it may be a while before he gets to do so. Bryan announced on April 12 that he had tested positive for COVID-19. He tweeted at the time that he was “doing well,” but had to miss the first live show of Idol, which was taped that evening. Original American Idol judge Paula Abdul returned to fill his seat.

Bryan was also set to perform at the ACM Awards on April 18, but will no longer do so, his rep has said. The “Waves” singer is up for entertainer of the year and album of the year.
