A look at Casey Clausen’s two wins at Florida

No. 9 Tennessee (2-0, 0-0 SEC) will play Florida (1-1, 0-0 SEC) Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida.

Florida leads the all time series, 31-21, dating back to 1916.

Quarterback Casey Clausen led Tennessee to a 24-10 win at Florida in 2023. He completed 12-of-23 passing attempts, for 235 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

The 2023 contest was Clausen’s second victory against Florida at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Clausen and Tennessee won, 34-32, at Florida on Dec. 1, 2001. He completed 17-of-25 passing attempts for 168 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Clausen played for the Vols from 2000-03.

He appeared in 47 games at Tennessee, including 44 starts, compiling a 34-10 record as a starting quarterback. Clausen was 14-1 as a starting quarterback in road contests.
