Aaron Judge chasing home run No. 61: Follow every at-bat!

Aaron Judge fell short of tying Roger Maris’ American League home run record of 61 on Friday, as the New York Yankees topped the Boston Red Sox in the second game of their three-game series.

Judge will get his next shot when N.Y. takes on Boston on Saturday (1:05 p.m. ET). 

Here is a recap of Judge’s at-bats from Friday.

First at-bat: Strikeout

Judge struck out swinging in his first at-bat on a full count.

Second at-bat: Flied out

Judge flied out to left field in his second at-bat in the third inning.

Third at-bat: Strikeout

Judge struck out swinging in the fifth inning on his third trip to the plate.

Fourth at-bat: Single

In the seventh inning, Judge singled to left field in his fourth and final at-bat of the night.
