Academic Related Documents like Results, Retakes Are Not Kept in the Main Building – Lecturer On MUK Fire.

“For those who are worried about academic related documents of Makerere University such as Degree certificates, academic transcripts, admission documents, results issues and the like take heart.” This was a revelation by Prof. Mwambutsya Ndebesa lecturer at Makerere University.

The professor was responding to cries that had started surfacing on social media questioning the safety of students’ academic documents after the fire that gutted the University’s main building with the most important offices.

Some had started making jokes on how retakers had survived the retakes among others.

Mwambutsya however revealed that academic related documents are no longer kept in main building as they were shifted and are being kept in senate building.

“In summary, most academic related documents are kept in senate building and administration related documents in the main building.” Mwambutsya said emphasizing that it must be mainly administration related documents that got burnt.
