Africa: Over 239 Million Covid-19 Vaccinations Administered Across Continent

Harare — As of February 25, 2022, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached   11,207,688 while over 239,269,406 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  247,882 and  10,288,492 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases of  3,667,560 and  99,018 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (  1,160,303 ), Tunisia ( 992,574 ), Ethiopia ( 468,564 ), Libya (  493,092 ), Egypt (  477,173 )  and Kenya ( 322,822 ).
