Besigye Explains Why He Didn’t Attend Ssebaggala’s burial.

Following questions on why Rt.Col.Dr.Kiiza Besigye did not turn up for the burial of Al-Haji Nasser Ntege Ssebagala, the former has come out to give reasons for his absence.

Several questions arose with a lot of people wondering why Besigye, wouldn’t attend a burial of a person that garnered a huge portion of Kampala behind him under the theme “Seya Alagidde”

“Unfortunately, I’m in self-isolation and couldn’t personally participate in his send off.
My thoughts and prayers continue to be with his family.” Besigye Posted on his social media.

Earlier on Besigye described Al Hajj Nasser Ntege Ssebagala as a good natured man, who wished others (especially, the less able) well and shared what he had generously.

“He was a witty, creative, courageous & charismatic leader. He’d a great sense of humour and was very difficult to annoy. He became a leading & articulate voice of Uganda’s marginalised young people.” – Besigye said.
