David Guetta & Bebe Rexha’s ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ Hits No. 1 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart

David Guetta and Bebe Rexha surge to No. 1 on Billboard‘s multi-metric Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated Oct. 1) with “I’m Good (Blue).” Up from No. 3 to the summit in just its fourth week on survey, the song is the second leader – and second together – for both the DJ/producer and singer. “Hey Mama,” by Guetta featuring Rexha, Nicki Minaj and Afrojack, ruled for 11 weeks in 2015.

“Good,” which interpolates Eiffel 65’s “Blue (Da Ba Dee),” a No. 6 Billboard Hot 100 hit in 2000, claims top Streaming, Airplay and Sales Gainer honors on the chart, helped by the Sept. 20 premiere of its official video. The track drew 10.1 million official streams (up 10%) and 6.8 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 134%) and sold 9,000 downloads (up 11%) in the U.S. in the Sept. 16-22 tracking week, according to Luminate.

Concurrently, “Good” grabs a second week at No. 1 on the Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs and Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales charts. On the Hot 100, it bounds 31-24, marking Guetta’s highest rank since “2U,” featuring Justin Bieber (No. 16, 2017), and Rexha’s best since “Meant To Be,” with Florida Georgia Line (No. 2, 2018).

Continuing on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, U.K. DJ/singer Eliza Rose and producer/DJ Interplanetary Criminal each earn a first top 10 placement with “B.O.T.A. (Baddest of Them All)” (11-9). The track tallied 3.2 million streams (up 48%) and sold 400 downloads (up 17%) and debuts on Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs (No. 17) and climbs Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales (25-16).

“B.O.T.A.” contains a sample of Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam’s 1991 club hit “Let the Beat Him ‘Em.”

Shifting to the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, Steve Aoki stomps in at No. 4 with HiROQUEST: Genesis (4,000 equivalent album units, with 3,000 from album sales). Aoki adds his seventh top 10, a run that began with Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles (No. 8, 2008) and, before this week, ran through Neon Future III (No. 1, 2018). Aoki has also led with Neon Future I (2014).

On the Dance/Mix Show Airplay, Sigala and Talia Mar hit the top 10 with “Stay the Night” (14-9). Sigala’s fifth top 10 and Mar’s first is drawing core-dance airplay on outlets including Music Choice’s Dance/EDM channel, WZFL (Revolution 93.5) Miami and KMVQ-HD2 San Francisco. (The Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart measures radio airplay on a select group of full-time dance stations, along with plays during mix shows on around 70 top 40-formatted reporters.)

Plus, ILLENIUM achieves his fifth Dance/Mix Show Airplay top 10 and singer-songwriter Teddy Swims paddles to his first with their team-up “All That Really Matters” (19-10).
