Here’s Exactly When You Can Hear Adele’s ‘Easy On Me’

In a recent Instagram Live, Adele also shared a clip of the track, in which she can be heard singing, “There ain’t no gold in this river/ That I’ve been washing my hands in forever/ And there is hope in these waters/ But I can’t bring myself to swim when I am drowning in this silence/ Baby, let me in.”

Adele revealed that the album — whose title hasn’t been announced, though fans predict it will be called 30 — is her most personal release to date in her Vogue interviews. “I feel like this album is self-destruction,” she explained, “then self-reflection and then sort of self-redemption. But I feel ready. I really want people to hear my side of the story this time.”

“Easy On Me” is the first single from Adele’s upcoming album. Her previous releases — 19, 21 and 25 — have all reached the top five on the Billboard 200 chart. 21 and 25 reached the No. 1 spot, while 19 hit No. 4 on the chart. 25, which spent a staggering 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned the album of the year Grammy, sold 3.38 million copies in its debut week — the biggest sales week for an album since MRC Data began tracking point-of-sale purchases in 1991.
