Limp Bizkit Lands First Airplay Chart Hit Since 2004 With ‘Dad Vibes’

For the first time since 2004, Limp Bizkit is on a Billboard airplay chart.

“Dad Vibes,” the lead single from the Fred Durst-led band’s new album Still Sucks, debuts at No. 38 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay tally dated Dec. 4.

It’s Limp Bizkit’s first airplay chart appearance since “Almost Over,” which peaked at No. 33 on Mainstream Rock Airplay in July 2004. That track is from the group’s 2003 album Results May Vary. Between that set and its newest album, the band released the EP The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) in 2005 and LP Gold Cobra in 2011.

Limp Bizkit boasts four career top 10s on Mainstream Rock Airplay, hitting a No. 4 high with “My Way” in 2001. The band boasts five top 10s on Alternative Airplay, including the 1999 No. 1 “Re-Arranged.”

“Dad Vibes” concurrently logs a sixth week on the multi-metric Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, after debuting and peaking at No. 7 in October. In addition to its radio airplay, the song drew 338,000 U.S. streams in the Nov. 19-25 tracking week, according to MRC Data.

Still Sucks debuted at No. 7 on the Hard Rock Albums chart dated Nov. 13 and has earned 17,000 equivalent album units to date.
