Rapper St. Nellysade Drops Anticipated 2021 Rap-up.

Reknown rapper Nsubuga Nelly has finally dropped last years wrap up of events that transpired.

This episode of the Rap -UP which summarizes 2021 top stories starts with the prayers and appeal made by religious leaders under the Joint Christian Council for peace ahead of the 2021 general elections where the doves(as signs of peace) barely flew.

In the 8 minute songs, Nellysade creatively rhymes words around as he transitions from one event to the other for examples; the internet shutdown, to the elections that saw Museveni announced president, t the arrest of Bobi Wine and compalints from his neighbours, onto the Cafe Java’s saga that involved allegations of a vermin in the smoothie up to the latest story of Jjemba Matte, an announcer who has become a social media sensation.

Nellysade has been doing Rap-Up songs for every year that we conclude since 2016.

On why he doesn’t do the Rap Up as a collaboration, Nellysade said he did this once and the fans seemed not to have welcomed it with hands as open as before so he chose to keep the Rap Up solo and collaborate on other projects.

Nellysade, real name Nelson Nsubuga, has been active in the music industry for over a decade, doing hip hop, a locally budding music genre. In the local hip hop community, he is regarded as the poster child for uniting the old and new generation of rappers. But it is his Luganda poetic storytelling that has garnered him respect and a following over the years.
