Serena Williams and Daughter Celebrate Megan Thee Stallion’s Grammy Wins With ‘Body’ Dance
Meg’s first Grammys night was one for the ages, as she not only busted out a smoking performance of “Savage” and joined Cardi B for their smash “WAP,” but she also won best rap song and was accompanied by her hero, and remix sister, Beyoncé, during the award acceptance for best rap performance for the “Savage” remix.
Describing falling in love with Bey after seeing Destiny’s Child at the Houston rodeo as a child, the rapper said, “My momma would always be like, ‘What would Beyoncé do?’,” adding that she would strive to try to answer that question with her own behavior, “but make it a little ratchet.” The rapper also took home the coveted best new artist trophy.
Serena isn’t a “Body”-come lately, either. The tennis legend and her sister Venus practiced their strokes earlier this year in a video in which they hit the court to dance to the song in between serves and volleys.
