The Smashing Pumpkins Share New Songs “Cyr” and “The Colour of Love”: Listen

Smashing Pumpkins have shared two new songs. “Cyr” and “The Colour of Love” are out now via Sumerian. Listen to both tracks below.

In 2018, Smashing Pumpkins released Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1—a new album featuring founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin alongside longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder. As the band went on tour, Corgan publicly feuded with founding bassist D’Arcy Wretzky. Last year, Corgan reunited with the long-lost guitar he played in the Gish era.

The band was set to tour this year, including dates with Guns N’ Roses, but shows were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Corgan’s last solo album was 2019’s Cotillions. In the meantime, he’s been running a wrestling company.
