LC1 Elections: Nakaseke LC 5 Chairperson Urges Public Not to Elect Thieves!

Chairman for Nakeseke Ignatius Kiwanuka  has requested  the public not to vote for thieves in the forthcoming Local Council 1 elections.

“I request all the people to vote the leaders who can protect their property but rather not who take the sides of the rich and steal peoples land” said Ignatius

He urged the public to be alert in these elections not to be persuaded by the words but rather analyse the trust of the contestants.

This comes shortly after the Uganda Electoral Commission Chairperson; Simon  Byabakama  rolled out the process road map. According to Simon,nominations are set to happen between 4TH -5TH July 2018.

6th – 9th July will be dates for campaigns starting from 7am  to 6:00pm and the voting process will take place on 10th July between 7am-4Pm.
