NTV’s Douglas Lwanga Blasts Ugandan Musicians Over Save Ug Music.
NTV the Beat presenter Douglas Lwanga has come out to blast artistes over the recently opened up save ug music campaign.
This was after the artistes who formed a whatsapp group as a communication platform for their Save Ug Music strategies agreed to boycott NTV the Beat in particular for not playing Ugandan music.
In his own words Douglas branded the artistes’ judgement as lies. He further softly blasted the artistes as he attributed this to personal grudges between the artistes and the djs. “I woke up to those claims this morning, but I think some of the musicians have personal grudges with the DJ’s at the station and the producer.” he said.
However well known for being a intelligent person with a peace loving heart, Douglas promised to look into the issue. Word has it that Douglas was kicked out of the Save Ug Music whatsapp group in the clean up exercise that saw journalists and Singer Ceaserous locked out.
