Police Rolls Out Traffic Map Ahead Of Uganda Martyrs’ Day Celebrations.
The police has today revealed the respective routes and parking space for the pilgrims who are going to visit Namugongo on Sunday 3RD June 2018 in their dignitaries.
While addressing the media today at Namugongo the Kampala metropolitan traffic commander Norman Musinga revealed some of the road diversions including Naalya ,Kireka ,Kiira ,Bwoyogerere and Seeta among others.
Musinga also said that private vehicles and motor cycles are advised not to go beyond these cut off areas ,pilgrims to protestant church should access the venue through Seeta road
“The road will be one way ,once you enter you go out after the celebrations are done expect an emergence ” he said,.
VIP Catholics with vehicles wearing red stickers will access Namugongo through Kyaliwanjala and park at Namugongo boarding primary school and the protestants will use Bwoyogerere and park at protestants’ playground .
Foreign pilgrims to the Catholic church with vehicles having blue stickers will park at Vienna college .Those from Ntinda Bwaise will park at hillside primary school and St.Peter’s SSS Naalya, Kira town council playground.
